Over 70 Years of Expertise
Between them, the Ferrara brothers have more than seven decades of experience in the heating and air conditioning industry, growing up working in their family’s business. They are graduates of Dunwoody College of Technology and each holds multiple Master Trade Licenses in Air Conditioning, Warm Air Heating, Low Pressure Boilers, Refrigeration, Sheet Metal, Gas and Oil Piping and Burners, Power Limited Wiring, and EPA Certification.
Among other recognition, Ted is the recipient of the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society John Spence Memorial Award for achieving the highest score in the nation on the Society’s Certificate Membership examination; the American Legion School Award, given for courage, honor, patriotism and leadership; and the Dunwoody College of Technology Alumni Achievement Award. Ted also holds a BA and a BS in Applied Mathematics from Metropolitan State University and an MBA from Harvard University. He is a recognized subject matter expert, has taught evening school trade-related courses, and has been a guest lecturer at the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management and the St. Thomas University Graduate School of Business. Ted is the proud father of two daughters, Claire and Grace, and resides in St. Paul
Todd holds a BA in Business from Metropolitan State University and has taught HVAC continuing education classes at Minneapolis Community & Technical College and Dunwoody College of Technology. He is also a certified instructor for the National Center for Construction Education and Research. Todd lives in Minneapolis and enjoys music, theater, motorcycling and playing hockey, as well as spending time with his family, stepdaughter Lauren and grandson Gabe.
The brothers have long records of industry leadership as well as community involvement. Todd’s current volunteer activities include serving on technical advisory committees at Minneapolis Community & Technical College and Dunwoody College of Technology. He is also active in community affairs and regulatory reform, was appointed to the Minnesota Department of Labor’s Apprenticeship Advisory Board in 2006, and appointed to the City of Minneapolis Charter Commission in 2002, where he currently serves. Ted’s volunteer activities currently include serving as a Trustee of Dunwoody College of Technology and as a member of the Board of Trustees of North Memorial Health Care and Medical Center.
