Instructions on how to set up the 4 most common settings for the Nest Learning Thermostat.

Nest Learning Transcript

Hi, my name is Joe. Sales Representative and former Maintenance Technician here at Standard Heating & Air Conditioning. Today I am going to show you how to set up the 4 most common settings on your Nest Learning Thermostat.

  1. Temperature
  2. System Settings
  3. Fan
  4. Schedule

Temperature

To temporarily change your temperature, rotate the outer ring left or right to find the desired temperature. This temperature will hold until your regular schedule programming starts back up again.

System Settings

To change system settings, press anywhere on the screen. Rotate the outer ring until desired option (icon) is at the top of the circle. Press anywhere on the screen again, and rotate the outer circle until you have found your desired setting. Press the screen once more and it is set.

Fan Settings

To change the fan settings, press the screen and rotate the ring until the fan icon is at the top of the circle. Press the screen, and choose your fan settings from here.

Schedule

Finally, to adjust your heating or cooling schedule, press the screen & rotate until the calendar icon is at the top of the screen. Press and scroll to find desired day & time that you would like to adjust.

Once found, press the thermostat and scroll to select desired time. Press the screen again to find the desired temperature.

To finish, press the screen once more to save, and continue this process until you have adjusted your desired weekly schedule.
