Taste of the Timberwolves 2013
The Timberwolves raised more than $350,000 at the 18th annual Taste of the Timberwolves fundraising event and Standard Heating & Air Conditioning was part of it.
On Wednesday the Wolves played the Spurs. On Friday they played the Knicks. In between, the Target Center was transformed into the cocktail gala of the season thanks to a collection of Timberwolves staff members and a hard-working event staff working all day to put together and tear down the drapes and tables and risers for what it was the 18th Taste of the Timberwolves fundraising event for the FastBreak Foundation (Timberwolves).
Fans and engaged-community members came together to meet Timberwolves players, to bid on and win exceptional prizes and to taste the best fare in the Twin Cities area. But most importantly we were there to help keep the FastBreak Foundation in business year-round by participating and donating to this great cause.
The Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation provides and supports hands-on programs that positively impact Minnesota youth. Through giving, education and basketball opportunities, the Foundation enables young people to make responsible decisions, contribute to their futures, and experience lifelong memories. In the past year alone, the Minnesota Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation and the Minnesota Lynx Foundation have combined to impact 2,146 organizations with over $800,000 in in-kind donations, 20,000 Tickets for Kids donations, 3,107 volunteer hours, 53 community members honored on-court, and 15 grants distributed.
