Standard Heating and Air Conditioning also offers complete boiler servicing and replacement options.

Question: How do I know if my current boiler heating system is operating safely and properly?
Answer: An annual inspection by one of our expertly trained service technicians will provide you with the assurance that you are getting the most heating value out of your boiler. The technician will thoroughly test all the aspects of your system including: pressure, circulation, fuel burning efficiency and exhausting. These last two steps ensure the safest operation by checking for natural gas and carbon monoxide leaks. Keeping your boiler running at its best will ensure your comfort and can reduce your utility bills.

Question: Should I consider replacing my old boiler with new boiler? Isn't this old technology?
Answer: Modern Boilers are more efficient than ever. While it is true that a forced-air heating system is "newer technology", there are many good reasons to heat your home with a boiler.

ECONOMY: Because water is such a great material for conducting heat, the temperature can be more accurately measured and regulated. This coupled with advanced controls and high-efficiency burners of modern boilers provides less wasted heat than and lower operating costs of boilers of the past.

COMFORT: The consistent warmth output of your radiators, baseboards or in-floor heating minimizes the cold spots and hot blasts of air you can experience with a forced-air system.

AIR QUALITY: Because the heat is delivered to your home through a sealed system your are not re-circulating from the other rooms in your house, minimizing the levels of dust, spores and odors throughout your home. A sealed system also allows you to enjoy more consistent humidity levels without the need to add additional equipment.
Question: What replacement options are available?
Answer: Standard Heating offers high-quality options from our standard efficiency 80% models to high-performance units that rival the efficiency of today's modern forced air systems. We also offer unique options such as zoning systems and indirect water heaters that work in conjunction with your boiler to efficiently store and deliver over 100 gallons of hot water. As always, we will work with you to find the best balance of economy and features to fit your needs.
